Important Notice

We have established clear guidelines regarding the positioning of aid stations.
Anyone wishing to operate an aid station is required to read this information carefully in advance.

Rules

  • Anything is allowed except engines. Human power only.
    MTB, horses, miniature ponies, wingsuits, gliders, skateboards, etc. ?
    whoever reaches the goal of the Rokko Traverse the fastest wins.

  • Do not die.

  • Do not complain too much.

  • Do not leave alcohol or food provided at aid stations unfinished.

  • There are no official signs or course marshals.
    Anyone who may get lost must carry a map or GPS and be able to navigate independently.

  • Participation is entirely at your own risk.
    You must have the ability to assess and manage risks in advance.
    In case of injury or accident, you are responsible for handling it yourself.

  • Those looking for a romantic partner are allowed to write “Available” on their bib using a marker.

  • You must agree to the contents of the waiver in order to participate.

  • Participants are expected to have basic manners, including greeting others and expressing gratitude.

  • No baggage storage is provided. Carry all your belongings yourself.

  • Take your trash home with you.

  • Please bring your own cup.

  • Aid stations operate on a donation (tip) basis.

  • After the event, each participant is required to conduct a cleanup activity
    (not limited to Mt. Rokko).

  • Do not climb Mt. Takatori. Use the official Cannonball Run detour route.

  • When passing others on the trail, uphill traffic has priority.
    Stop or slow down and yield as necessary.

  • On paved roads, do not spread out and always leave enough space for vehicles to pass.

  • The Suma goal area closes at 7:00 PM.For Night Speed, the Takarazuka goal remains open until 8:00 AM, when the Speed race starts.

  • There is no cutoff, but participants are requested to pass Garden Terrace by 4:00 PM on Sunday.
    After that time, anyone continuing toward the goal must remove their bib and proceed as a general hiker.

  • Children who join with a participating adult can attend for free.

    Details: At the goal location, “THIRD PLACE ROKKO,” you will enjoy campfire cooking and lunch in an outdoor space surrounded by trees. Fill a hand-held hot sandwich maker generously with ingredients and slowly grill your hot sandwich over the campfire. Let the flickering flames and warm food gently soothe your tired body and hungry stomach.
    Meal Contents:
    * Campfire hamburger hot sandwich, made by each participant
    * One drink (alcoholic beverages available)
    Notes:
    * Additional drinks are available for an extra charge
    * Optional grilled items such as sausages and marshmallows are available (can be ordered on site on the day)
    * In case of rain, the event will be held indoors, and charcoal grilling will be used instead of a campfire
    Available Time: Between 12:00 PM and 3:30 PM (Maximum of 1.5 hours per person)

To ensure smooth and safe movement for all participants,
we are recruiting Runner & Guide Volunteers.

  • Role: Guide runners from Takarazuka to the plaza below Shioji Temple

  • Activity Time: Sunday, March 29, 6:30?7:30 AM

  • Note: Participants may start their race after completing volunteer duties

  • Incentive: Gift + discounted entry fee (?3,000)

  • Number of Volunteers: Approx. 10 (applications close once full)
