Important Updates

Due to recent global conditions, the cost of materials and services has significantly increased, impacting the operation of the event. To continue delivering a fulfilling event experience and improve its overall quality, we must revise the participation fee from ?4,000 to ?5,000.

  • Reception time has been changed to start one hour before the event (except for GAY and RAINBOW categories).
  • We are recruiting volunteer participants who will also serve as course guides to ensure smooth and safe movement to the Shiono-ji reception venue. Volunteers will receive a discounted participation fee of ?3,000.

Rules

  • Any non-engine-powered mode of transport is allowed, such as running, MTB, horseback riding, miniature ponies, wingsuits, gliders, skateboards, etc. The winner is the first to finish the Rokko Traverse.
  • No dying.
  • Avoid excessive complaints.
  • No signage or course marshals are provided. If you are unsure of the route, bring a map or GPS and ensure you can navigate independently.
  • Participants must take responsibility for their safety and risk management. Address any injuries or accidents on your own.
  • You must agree to the waiver and terms to participate.
  • Show courtesy and express gratitude to others.
  • No baggage storage is provided; carry your belongings yourself.
  • Take all your trash home.
  • The finish line in Suma closes at 7:00 PM.
  • Bring your own cup.
  • Aid stations operate on a donation basis.
  • Participants are required to clean up after the event, either on Mt. Rokko or in other areas.
  • Follow the designated Cannonball Run detour route instead of climbing Mt. Takatori.
  • Yield to ascending individuals by slowing down or stopping when passing others.
  • While there is no official cutoff time, please pass Myoho-ji by 4:00 PM. After this time, participants must remove their bibs and continue as regular hikers if heading toward Suma.
  • If looking for a partner, you may write "Seeking" on your bib with a marker.
